Johnelle began MCing events in her early teens and soon transformed her love of speaking into being a radio announcer for Mediaworks in New Zealand. She MC'd her friends weddings, and even weddings of radio listeners throughout her early twenties, along with being behind the mic for hundreds of public and private events.
Since 2024 shes been a marriage celebrant for over 25 couples, and often MC's their reception's aswell.
